Latest For Keeps

Yesterday I received my sub copy of the new For Keeps - this issue has my very first, EVER article in it, on Stamping, so I was pretty excited to get to see it in print. And it also has my ET project - Memories on Display - here's a peek of the photo cubes of Jude...(image taken from the For Keeps website :-P)

And here are two out of the three layouts from my stamping article....

I'm currently working on my next article, which is lots of fun :-)

Will be back later with some photos from a few occasions.

Singstar Diva

Just a quick layout share. This is for the final round of Scrapping With The Stars over at Scrap Therapy and the challenge was set by the very talented Jolene - so lots of photos, flowers, ribbons, bling and of course, girly. Here's my take on the challenge....more of a funky girly layout :-)

Beechworth - Icecream Fun

Beechworth is a beautiful town of old buildings, yummy cafes and bakery and lots of history. Here are my three ravishing their ice-creams :-)

Sneak Peek Teasers

With the American CHA Fair about to start, sneak peeks are popping up all over the net. Looks like we have some fantastic new products to inspire us in the coming months. In my browsing efforts, I came across this very new brand called 'Pink Paislee' and I decided that Kiti Q had to get some! So the pre-order has been placed and is about 5 weeks away. So we'll have some new patterned papers, die-cut edged papers, die-cut shapes, alphabet stickers, mini clear stamps and clear stamp sets all on their way. Here's a few teasers :

A die-cut edged paper from the Spring Fling range ...

A patterned paper from the Office Lingo range ...

Here is one of their mini clear stamps....

And here is one of the clear stamp sets called Vintage Pop....how cute is that rocket?

Also on pre-order for the fair are a good variety of the new clear stamp and felt fusion ribbon including the 4.7" ribbon. Very nice :-P

New is store this week at Kiti Q are Scrap FX Birds , there are three designs that I have. Here's one of them :

Also, I received a Queen & Co restock order of the felt fusion, so lots more of the scrolls and the 2.7" Stars in red and white are now in store. Also new are 3 of the Queen & Co clear stamp sets - very cute and I just love the packaging!

So lots of things happening, and not long until all the new CherryArte arrives in store too...fun, fun, fun!!

Enjoy your week! xx

More to share

Here are the other two layouts I completed while on holiday, so I have something to share seeing I haven't even scrapped since! Actually all my stash is still in bags...oh well. Maybe this week :-P

The one of the boys is an older photo but a cute one. The layout is based on one of the new Basic Grey 'Two Scoops' papers, and I actually used a motif from one of Jude's t-shirts (the little animals in the car) that was no longer wearable due to a mysterious grease mark. At least it came in handy for this! LOL.

In the next layout I've used a photo that was taken by Donna Wild of Danielle & Sienna. I loved the old world feel to this photo, so I tried to relate that through product and colour choices. I had a ball doing this layout, layering lots of things, and mainly just having fun. I've mainly used Sassafras Lass "Indian Summer" papers and die-cut trims, with a touch of KI Memories, Heidi Swapp, Fancy Pants and Bella Chipboard.

Other quick updates :
- The kindy presidency is keeping me busy already. First committee meeting is in ten days - aargghh! I'm sure I'll end up with more on my to-do list. And Alannah hasn't even had her first day yet (it's on Monday)
- We are off on our annual family holiday trip at Tawonga in the next week. Teresa and I have lots planned, most of which consists of sitting around and doing not a lot :-P The kids (and Dads) will have a ball just splashing around in the river most of the day. Here's hoping it's warm weather.
- Currently we are in the process of night-time toilet training with Lana - so far, so good - yay!
- Hopefully it wont be long until our extension starts - still not holding my breath yet as we have some more red tape to get through first before the first hole is dug.
- I've just ordered the new Winter CHA release from Queen & Co - lots of new felt fusion designs and some new clear stumps - absolutely gorgeous! Will arrive in Australia end of March/early April.

Um, I think that's about it for tonight. My brain is a bit frazzled with my mental to-do list, but I'm pretty sure there is not much else to report.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xx
